'The Box' art print by Owen D. Pomery. Limited edition giclee print on 350gsm Hahnemühle Museum Etching paper.
About the building: Situated in the wilderness near Stockholm, ’The Box’ (Lådan) was a very small and intimate minimalist house designed by architect Ralph Erskine and built by Erskine himself (in 1941-1942) for his family (Erskine’s wife and two daughters). The Erskine family would spend four years living in the 215 ft2 of space, which was divided into two rooms by a large masonry fireplace.
